How long does a planning decision take in Surrey?
The statutory determination period is eight weeks from validation for a householder or minor application and thirteen weeks for a major application. In practice, timescales vary between councils and with the level of consultation, and an application can be extended by agreement rather than refused. We cannot promise a date or an outcome, but we can prepare a complete, well evidenced submission, which is the part that is within our control.
How much of Surrey is Green Belt, and what does that mean?
