Redevelopment in the Heart of Cobham
Set within the leafy surroundings of Cobham, The Lavenders showcases Morph Design Studio’s expertise in transforming underused plots into elegant, functional family homes. Acting as residential architects and project managers, we redeveloped a site once occupied by a dilapidated structure, dividing the generous plot into three distinct yet cohesive homes. Inspired by Georgian design principles, each property balances traditional proportion with modern living requirements, contributing to Cobham’s evolving architectural landscape.
From Feasibility to Planning Success
Our involvement began at the feasibility stage, analysing the site potential and defining a design strategy that respected planning constraints while maximising value. Acting as planning approval architects, we guided the project through every stage of the planning process, working closely with the developer and local authority. While planning approval was pending, our architects worked proactively at risk, developing technical drawings and coordinating with the contractor to ensure readiness for construction. This efficiency allowed the build to begin immediately upon approval, saving time and reducing cost for the client.
Collaborative Design and Technical Coordination

As building project managers, we maintained open communication with contractors, engineers, and subcontractors, aligning design intent with practical delivery. Detailed technical design ensured structural integrity, service coordination, and compliance with modern building standards.
